STATUS: PRE-PRODUCTION
Lovita Cinema is excited to announce production on the feature-length film, “Blood and Pearls”. The story tastefully blends black comedy with elements of both thriller and arthouse - inspired by French New Wave cinema.
PLOT: Fabulously fabulously wealthy Tristan Halliwell, who appears to have it all; an endless supply of money, a beautiful home, extravagant jewellery - except that all of it actually belongs to Tristan’s older husband, Simon. After Tristan clumsily executes a plan to murder his husband in order to cease his assets, he makes the dubious discovery that he may not be entitled to anything at all.
Tristan must rely on his cunning wits and seductive charm to both manipulate and eliminate those who stand in his way of claiming what he believes he’s entitled to - a life of effortless abundance. Will Tristan’s reckless determination lead him to his treasure, or will his out-of-touch narcissism derail his selfish scheme?

PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHY EXPECTED TO BEGIN IN AUTUMN 2025Lovita Cinema is proud to announce that we have begun pre-production on the feature-length film, “Fragrance of The Flesh”. The supernatural horror story is inspired by 1960s Hammer Horror, as well as the stylish 1970s Giallo era of Italian cinema.
PLOT: Young and beautiful amateur model Jacqui Barlow has been invited to the small, isolated town of Margaux, Ontario to feature in the 150th anniversary advertisement-campaign of a niche perfume “Matriarch” - which has been solely produced by the Dunwich family in Margaux since it’s inception. The perfume is virtually forgotten outside of it’s aging cult-following, and the town remains unknown and unvisited by outsiders. Once Jacqui arrives in Margaux, she is not only unsettled by the strange town, but also by the beauty-obsessed Dunwich family - who seem to want much more than just a photoshoot from her.
Pretty (Short, 2018)
Our very first project, Pretty follows a town searching desperately for a local missing teenager. Little do they know, the teen is being held captive by a popular peer to satisfy their sadistic sexual fantasies.
The film stars Emerson James and Caterina Augimeri. The duo also produced the film, alongside the film’s director, Carlee Bandoian.
